Buildings that can make an impact on the long-term objective of ecological sustainability should not be designed to conform to a style or a fashion. They can be as varied as our ability to dream, and as sustainable as is technically and economically practical. Sustainable does not need to mean an all or nothing approach either. There can be a middle way that still makes a difference.
Designing a building is a collaboration between designer and client – a sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience. Living spaces can appear conventional or extraordinary; be system built or painstakingly assembled item by item; be granite or straw. We work closely with people to create something remarkable, in a manner of their choosing, and offer an expertise accumulated over thirty years in design practice.
